‘Sonic Salvage’ is a full length, thirty minute audio LP of instrumental beat music produced by UK west country duo ‘CrabbMan and Jamma’. It explores and uses elements of hardcore hip-hop, trip hop, self sampling and over processing. It brings retro and vintage production techniques up to date by pairing them with today’s techniques. Additionally it is very much based around the sonic signature and the mood of music being paired together. The planning of the project started in September 2013 with actual musical composition starting in November. The audio being completed after much experimentation in May 2014.
